Logan Gallaher, MS, CMPC®, HPMC, CPT
| As a former collegiate soccer player who has successfully recovered from two severe sports injuries, Logan understands the importance of nutrition, mental health, and physical activity in relation to performance. His own journey has shaped his passion for helping others strengthen both their bodies and their minds. Today, Logan works not only with athletes but also with healthcare professionals supporting them in navigating high-pressure environments and building the resilience needed to consistently perform at their best. Logan is known for his ability to deeply empathize with others. He leads with compassion, prioritizing the person first before their role, whether that identity is an athlete competing on the field or a medical professional caring for patients in the operating room. His approach blends mindset shifts, mental skills training, and holistic practices to help clients thrive in both performance and well-being. Logan graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) with a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology, then went on to earn a Master of Science in Kinesiology with a focus in Performance, Sports, and Exercise Psychology from UIC. He is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC®) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology, a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the American Council on Exercise, and a Level 1 High Performance Medicine Coach (HPMC) through Arena Labs. His experience includes serving as a mental performance consultant with the ASPIRE Lab’s Resilient Athlete Program at UIC, UIC’s Army ROTC, and UIC’s Men’s Baseball Team. He has worked with injured athletes, collegiate athletes, semi-professional athletes, tactical athletes, and medical professionals, helping them overcome mental blocks and develop a mental skills toolkit that allows them to perform to their fullest potential. Logan has presented at the Association for Applied Sport Psychology’s 38th Annual Conference, the Midwest Sports and Exercise Psychology Symposium (2x), and the Chicago Sports Injury and Psychology Symposium (2x). Outside of his professional work, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, weightlifting, watching sports, and traveling. |
